Overall comments: This category was disappointing. Too many politicians. So boring.


Judges comments: We all do court and it's a grind. We liked the emotion and composition here. But next time, straighten the horizon please.

Judges comments: This would look good played large in any broadsheet. But technically, not so good.

Judges comments: Trudeau’s socks had been in the news, so it was relevant.

Judges comments: This is a lovely photo, but we prefer that hands aren't cut off. It was a successful assignment for the photographer but more attention needs to be paid to detail.
