Great idea Ken. Maybe NPAC should have a section for members where they can access information like this. It could contain contracts, information about insurance, information about rights as a photojournalist, pesky reporters to avoid :), et cetera.
I'd be willing to help gather this information.

I am now entering my second week of mentoring a local student from Kitimat who is attending North Island College on Vancouver Island.  (Frankly I had never heard of the program until the college contacted me and asked me to mentor her for the two weeks)

It is not exactly an internship but what the college calls a practicum

We're doing a mix of photojournalism and nature photography (which is what I do up here anyway) and for me it is quite interesting because the student, at this time, is not on a photo journalism track, but seems to be aiming at portraiture or nature. So I would definitely support a renewed NPAC mentoring program ....especially one that is outside of the big urban areas where the experience is likely to be quite different.
