Just sending out an update.
Darrell Oake is doing really well. I saw him today and had a little chat. He's out and about and walking short distances with the help of a cane. He requires a wheelchair for the longer jaunts.
He has lost about 70 pounds since his was afflicted by this disease. But thankfully the disease seems to have reached its watermark and is regressing. With the help of rehab he's trying to regain the mobility and strength he lost fighting Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
He was out today with his family with his camera shooting pictures again. Something he loves to do.
