Retired Star photograher Dick Darrell -- died this morning in Port Perry Hospital.
He had been in a nursing home in Port Perry the past few years.
He would have been 93 in March.
Dick was famous for his love of Canadian Tire. He couldn't resist going into every store he came across, especially when on the road, much to the chagrin of any reporter he was working with.
He was fun to work with (or against), and a good friend.
