2013 National Pictures of the Year DEADLINE LOOMING

All,

Deadline for entries into the NPAC's 2013 National Pictures of the Year competition is midnight Friday January 31, 2014.

This deadline is five days away.

DO NOT wait until the last minute or even that day to start preparing your entries. You can find all the rules and submission guidelines in the post at the top of this forum.

The 2013 NPOY committee will NOT accept any late entries for ANY reason. This includes any technical issues you may have while uploading your entries so you need to start now.

Do not miss this deadline.

And, yes, there can be technical issues while uploading. I'm currently on my fourth attempt at having the upload work. Fingers-crossed...

This is what I get for waiting until the last few days, isn't it...

Just finished uploading mine and yup, took two tries... and that was only still photos.

Mind you, I was sending them from Maui...  :)

Mine finally worked after I found a faster 'net connection away from home, and I received an email verification immediately. I tried seven times at home without success, but the first shot on a different connection worked well.

well one IO error at the end of the first try (at 100% lol). Switched to iPhone wifi and it went much faster and completed. whew. got email conf speedy quick as well.
