Sony SD cards recalled
« on: September 08, 2020, 11:41 PM »
Sony is recalling some of its SD cards due to possible data corruption when recording video. The cards include Sony's SF-M series, the SF-M Tough series and the SF-G Tough series.

If you have an affected memory card, contact Sony for a replacement.

In Canada, use Sony Canada's live chat. On that web page, click on "Consumer Electronics"  and then select a product type of "All other cameras, camcorders and camera accessories." The process should take less than 10 minutes and Sony will send you a shipping label and a work order that needs to be included with your returned card.

You need to know the serial number of each card, where and when you purchased the card(s) and you might need a copy of the sales invoice.
