Portrait a day project
« on: January 06, 2013, 09:08 PM »
Hey NPAC community,

It's been a while since I have posted here. I've been away for a while, having just spent a year traveling and working across New Zealand and Australia (weddings, family portraits, and covered professional cycling). I've been back in Winnipeg for a few months now (well, the summer), and as of January 1st, 2013 I've started a portrait a day project for 2013.

If you are interested, it can be viewed here: www.davidlipnowski.com/365

Anyone other NPAC members doing a 365 project, or have done one in the past? I've never done one before, and know it will be a huge challenge to keep with it.

I hope you enjoy and follow the madness.

Good luck with the project.  I'm sure there will be days that are a real challenge to make it happen!  I really like Day 1 pic. Meeting interesting strangers and hearing their stories will be a bonus.  -Dave C.

Showing great tenacity , portrait photography is still alive , the pictures are stunning – after all this time – even if everything else seems to going into the crapper , a great shooters still shoots .  great job – really great job.

More cracking pics, David, my faves, of the last little while, are
"Amira", "Ruel" and "Noel, along with your description of his
stories" :)

Cheers and continued good shooting :)
