Hi all,
We've just received a request from the Ontario Community Newspapers Assn to see if someone from NPAC in the Vaughn area would be available and interested in speaking at their annual convention. If you are interested in participating, please contact Karen at: k.shardlow@ocna.org
Please read below.
Thanks,
Ali
P.S. Speaking of conferences...... don't forget that the wildly fabulous NPAC conference is rapidly approaching - May 23rd to be exact... be there or be square!

The Ontario Community Newspapers Association represents over 300 weekly Community Newspapers in the province of Ontario.
Each year, our Annual Spring Convention includes a series of sessions designed to educate and inform our members to allow them to continue their excel at their craft – Community Newspapers.
This year our convention is being held on Friday April 4th in Vaughan.
We are including a “What’s hot in Editorial and Advertising” featuring short 30 minute sessions about a variety of topics.
With shrinking newsrooms and many personal including journalists/photographers these days, we would like to include a topic discussing the use of smart phones or other means to create and produce photos and videos.
Is there someone at the News Photographers Association of Canada who may be interested in presenting this topic?
Any help or suggestion you may have would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to your response.
Thank you,
Karen Shardlow
