Beyond the Myth of the War Photographer

A New York Times article about the recently published book "Shooting War" written by Dr. Anthony Feinstein, a psychiatrist at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

Feinstein previously produced the documentary Under Fire: Journalists in Combat.

I want to share that of the 18 photographers profiled in this book only 4 are women and 14 are men. This is a pretty big imbalance in a field that now could easily make the gender balance equal.
