Historian finds ties between AP and Hitler regime

From the UK Guardian in March 2016, a news article describing how The Associated Press cooperated with the Nazis leading up to World War II and for the first few years of the war. The article also alleges that AP is currently cooperating with the North Korean Government.

The Associated Press news agency entered a formal cooperation with the Hitler regime in the 1930s, supplying American newspapers with material directly produced and selected by the Nazi propaganda ministry, archive material unearthed by a German historian has revealed.

...the newly discovered information raises not just difficult questions about the role AP played in allowing Nazi Germany to conceal its true face during Hitler’s first years in power, but also about the agency’s relationship with contemporary totalitarian regimes.
