New Members Directory

We have a new members directory:

     https://npac.ca/find-news-editorial-sports-photographers-in-canada/

It's also accessible in the top menubar: Contact > Member Directory   and it will be accessible through a couple of other links on our site as soon as more members update their information.

This new directory will replace the Blink directory that we've been using:  https://npac.ca/freelancers/


To update your information, log into your account (My Account):

         https://npac.ca/my-account/

This uses your store account not your forums account. (The switch to a one-password login system will happen later this year but the switch isn't as simple as you might think.)

Once you log in, you can add:

• City:   If you're in a smaller city or town, you can include a nearby larger city if applicable. For example, if you're in Moose Jaw, your might list your city as:  Moose Jaw, Regina   (separated by a comma and a space).

Please do not list your city as: "Vancouver, Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax". It looks silly, it's useless information and there's only so much space in your directory listing.

• Province (or state):   Spell it out in full.

• Website, Twitter, Instagram:   your-domain.com, twitter.com/your-username, instagram.com/your-username.
    If you follow these patterns, your web address will be a clickable link.

• Specialties:   Be realistic and pick up to five. If you specialize in everything then you specialize in nothing. If there's a specialty missing, let me know but not landscape photography, weddings, baby portraits . . .  :-)

I'm not sure how much this directory will help but I assume every little bit helps. In the end, perhaps the only directory that matters is Google.
