Hi folks,
So there hasn’t been a ton of action on the surface, but I’ve been working at updating a couple things on the site. The joy of WordPress is it keeps our costs down by being largely free, but then the downside is it’s largely free, as Warren put it.
After the directory plugin we were using went defunct, I set out to find an alternative. The new one I’ve implemented lets you input all manner of criteria, as well as upload eight sample photos, a PDF file if you’re feeling saucy, and even a location that will be shown on a Google Maps iframe in the profile. I recommend entering your full city and province in your bio for searchability e.g. “Calgary, Alberta”. The “specialties” has a number of categories but please tell me if I left something out and I’ll add it in.
Check the directory out here and let me know what you think!
To set up your profile, follow the link below. The set up works best on a desktop by the way.

Now, as I didn’t want to assume everyone wanted to have their info on display by default, it is set to Hide from public directory” by default. To enable it for public viewing, go to the Account page below and under privacy set “Hide my profile from directory” to “No”:

Let me know what you think!
