    Lizotte wears the completed ribbon skirt that she made with eco-dyed materials. “‘’m still trying to figure everything out,’ she says of the process. ’It’s hard without having all that ancestral knowledge that I wish I had, like I wish I knew more stories and I wish I knew how they helped the dye stay and what they used. But I don’t have that and so I’m just kind of trying to reclaim it all on my own.
    ‘It is tough, but it makes me happy trying to reclaim that.’

    All On-Ice Officials in Canada are required to register for a clinic and pass an exam in order to be eligible to officiate Hockey in Canada.

    Skates should be worn while walking on concrete, cement, or other hard surfaces as with their blades exposed this will cause them to dull, chip, or crack.
