The finalists of the 2022 National Pictures of the Year competition have been announced.
The winners will be announced following the annual general meeting May 28.
NPAC sincerely thanks Los Angeles Times foreign correspondent Marcus Yam, New York freelance photojournalist Hilary Swift, and Photographer and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer for B.D. Colen for judging the contest.
These photographers dedicated eight straight hours, plus more via email, out of their busy schedules to provide constructive criticism while selecting the winners of this year’s National Pictures of the Year contest.
We look forward to once again showcasing the absolute best of the Canadian photojournalism industry in a time where truth in visuals is more important than ever.
