American politics more than ever needs a good sober second thought from the 1960's and Seventies to be saved from itself. Where are Bob Dylan and Paul Simon or Canada's prophetic Original Caste's, One Tin Soldier? Like a Bridge over Troubled Water, Joe Biden will transition on, to Donald Trump's One Tin Soldier, charging up to the city on the hill , “peace on earth was all it said...On the bloody morning after... One tin soldier rides away.”
It seems America is in a political fever dream in the only stadium show left in town , and the Bat has been let Out of Hell, “what's it going to be boy...” Mr. Trump, would you do anything for love, but would you really do that.
