If a News Photogs played football, what position would they play? Many would be at the slotback position making catches and grinding out tough yards, getting hit in vulnerable positions and blocking down fields for the star running back.
A few more would be wide receivers, the position on the field closest to the water cooler, waiting for their shot at glory. With one or two passes a game, and a lot of distraction they wait. That one big game breaking run and catch and score is their only thought. The headline ,main art, and lede in the sports section. News photographers crave that opportunity to be great in those rare moments. They live for it, but never know when it might come.

If Walter Cronkite, Eric Sevareid, David Brinkley, Chet Huntley, Norman DePoe, Christiane Amanpour, Barbara Walters, and Terry Milewski were sitting around a table playing pokers, what would they be talking about today? Would anyone dare to bluff?
