People walk out the door of their own volition. They walk back in under the terms of a new agreement agreed by majority.
Lots of things happen and many things are said in anger during the in between.

Practical Experience says to delete everything in between. Wipe it clean. Like the mentality of a  goalie or a quarterback.  Pro player amnesia. The only thing that matters is what I do next.

At the end of the day, workers ended up awkwardly on the other side of a line drawn by others,  are back in the office being managed by the many layers of bosses who were in the awkward spot of being on the other side of a line drawn by others.

Stories and pictures are produced ,production begins again for another day.
If someone reaches out take it. If no one reaches out then reach out yourself.
The process is collaborative and everyone begins to be accountable again. Everyone has a reputation and a standard to maintain. Stories and pictures are still for the same person , the readers.

And if for no other reason , carry on at the highest level to survive in that same place or move on to another. Opinion by Ken Gigliotti
