Canadian News Targets Wpg for N.Korean ICBM
« on: August 03, 2017, 11:33 AM »
Did Canadian television media offer up Winnipeg as a target for North Korean  ICBM's? In a startling move after NK launched a high flying ICBM , Canadian TV news channels offered up a map of Canada with recommended targets. On the map were the usual population centers from West to Eastern Canada. BUT, big but , when the announcer rhymed off the names, all but one was named, Winnipeg was  not mentioned although it was clearly on the map.
If I was in N Korea I would be suspicious of that omission  and begin to think Winnipeg may have a more strategic importance than say Ottawa or Toronto. Conspiracy theorists agree.
Winnipeg'ers know that on daily national weather forecasts Winnipeg is on the edge of an east /west split and often gets ignored, sports channels often miss the Winnipeg NHL and CFL scores, we are used to it. BUT, big but, the North Koreans don't know that. Winnipeg may have, if the NK look a little closer ferocious Polar Bears that might also be a threat to their strategic plan. Our C-130 base can still move a lot of military stuff if we choose to invade NK. Maybe Winnipeg is Canada's secret weapon.

Why would Canadian media point North Korean missiles in Canada's direction anyway. Gee. A Short Opinion by Ken Gigliotti

Winnipeg has a strategic importance (and note the connection to North Korea - between 1:18-1:40):

You know how all the water drains away when the bathtub plug is pulled? Winnipeg is Canada's bathtub plug. If they bomb Winnipeg, the rest of the country will disappear down the drain.   ::)

"Hey! We're worth bombing, too!"

It's because some Canadian media suffer from US-envy.  Several Toronto media outlets also suffer badly from New York-envy.

Many Canadians think Canada matters in world affairs because the country happens to have a lot of land. But it's not about the size of your land but rather it's about economic influence and what you do with that influence.
