We are launching a new web site!
We are currently developing a new, dedicated web site for World Photographic Cup Team Canada. This web site will help to expand the Canadian entry and include professional photographers from all disciplines, from across the country. We are currently reaching out to other Photography Associations and Professional Photographers from coast to coast with the goal of assembling the strongest WPC entry possible, that represents the best that Canada has to offer.
The new web site is set to launch by the Canada Day Long Weekend. Yes, we will begin accepting entries on Canada’s 150th birthday. Visit

Why should you participate?
Because the World Photographic Cup is like the Olympics of photography.
It’s the only international photographic competition where a professional photographer can represent his or her country. This alone should make anyone proud of participating.
There are many important international competitions like World Press, Sony Awards, National Geographic etc, but in these competitions, you enter for yourself, for the recognition, the prizes, the fame, and the glory. But WPC you do it for your country. That being said, there is individual recognition and a lot to be proud of if your image is selected as part of Team Canada’s entry. Finalist are awarded a frameable certificate stating that your image was selected to represent Canada in the World Photographic Cup. This would surely be a center piece in any photographers’ trophy case.
We send press releases to news media across the country and in the past, our finalists have been rewarded with excellent national and local media coverage.
Each country (28) entering the WPC strives to put together the best of the best team entry. This is why Canada needs your talent, your creativity to succeed. Help us make Canadian photography talent known on the world scene. Submit your images please!
New rules for 2017
This year, you can enter up to 4 images for one entry fee. The regularly priced entry fee is set at $75.00. For NPAC members, the entry fee is automatically discounted to $55.00.
Here’s what you need to do:
1: You need to connect to this link,
www.worldphotographiccup.ca after July 1st, 2017 to have access to the WPC competition. If you have entered WPC competition in the past, you will not have to create a new user profile this year.
2: READ CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS and follow the submit instructions.
3: Once you reach the window to make your payment, you’ll be asked to enter a special coupon code. Your NPAC membership code is NPAC2017 to receive the $55.00 member rate.
Note: It is a code NOT to be SHARED with anyone who is not a member of NPAC. If someone was to use a NPAC discount code who is not a member in good standing, their entry would be rejected and no refund issued.
4: You will then be sent to the Paypal payment system and it will show $55CDN plus taxes. Follow the instructions to get to the page where you can upload your images.
