Something seems wrong: can't find the video section. You'll never get a job without video.  :)

(Did you have to pay your web designer with coffee?)

Yes...I am using a very new state of the art website software called VideoDinosaur. If any video gets on the site even by accident...my site will throw itself into a cyberspace tar pit....not that there is anything wrong with video mind you....

I have to say that this is the interesting implementation of Pixelpost I've seen so far.

I like where you're trying to go with having each word for the main links a different colour with no space but I don't feel that the colours work. Having (what looks to be) #EEE vs #666 is too clashy, not to metion that the majority of your site is dark greys to begin with. Further, the tone of red you've used (#C90000) is once again too contrasty with #666. #666 is a hard grey to blend colour with, in general, I find.

The top navigation bar is far too wonky on my screen (1280x800) so you may want to check that out. I can't find the source of the problem in the code but the gradient is showing up on a line below all of the text. You may also want to change the bolding of "Clark." The letters look much too fat compared to the rest of the text (despite trying to draw the eye).

Going into the galleries, I'm sure if you really need the EXIF information present. Unless it's absolutely necessary, lose it since it clutters the info box. The thumbnail for the current image doesn't look like it has any padding whatsoever while the rest of the image do, thus making the selected image sit lower. Make the padding the same as the rest (you may have to create a new class to eliminate the grey border that would show if you assigned it as the same class as the other thumbnails). Are comments on your work also necessary? If not, remove the link. The Previous and Next links are really awkwardly placed. Move them down away from the top header (maybe in or around the info box would be more usable). Also remove the bolding on the gallery headlines. Again, it looks weird and the font degrades with bolding.

The about page looks good as it is. I'd recommend moving the Interesting Reads section under the biography and expanding the text to take up the whole box, or having the biography text wrapping around the Intresting Reads (I'd vote for moving it under). Either way, the page looks way too imbalanced with its current setup.

Thought I would add a new category on my site called "On Assignment". I hope to post images from assignments or even themes done over several days or months and thanks to the blessing of the benevolent "Photo Gods" got more than a single image sharp, as in the other categories..... ::)

Andy, I have checked in on the NPAC site from time to time but have never taken a moment to join.  Your site and more importantly, your wonderful pictures and my desire to say WOW! after visiting today finally had me pulling out the credit card and joining up. Glad, finally to be contributing as a member to NPAC.

Well folks some of you may have noticed my website no longer exists.....sigh!!!! my provider got attacked by a hacker and everything went into another dimension. Once I get back from my current assignment in a far off land I will have to get it back into its original time continuum......

Finally after several weeks of sleepless nights, hunched over my laptop in a small, dank, windowless smoke filled room, littered with coffee cups and uneaten food, I have emerged with my website reloaded and operational....still tweaking here and there but its running and seaworthy so far.....

many thanks to Robert Dall who initially put Humpty Dumpty back together again......
