Thank you for visiting the News Photographers Association of Canada web site. Our readers are professional photographers, videographers, and post-secondary school photography students who will be tomorrow’s professional. As an advertiser on this site, you will have a direct link to this audience.

All of our professional members are very computer-savvy and up-to-date with changes in digital technology. They must always stay current with the newest equipment to remain competitive. These photographers are always interested in anything that can make their job easier or more productive.

Today’s photojournalist is part photographer, part writer, part computer expert and part small business owner. Their needs and interests are many and varied.

A number of our members work for Canada’s dailies, weeklies and wire services. Many of these photographers have direct influence on their newspaper’s photo purchasing decisions.

Our student members will usually graduate within two years. They are just beginning to build their careers and are looking for advice and information about equipment, techniques and industry-standard practices.
