After quiting his job at the L.A. Times newly minted freelancer photographer Brent Foster will now be heading off to India. Foster leaves for New Deli January 12 to begin his overseas adventurer as a freelance Visual Journalist and gives us some insight into what gear he’ll be taking along for the ride.

I’ve had quite a few inquiries last few days before I head off to India to start my freelance career I thought I’d share the gear I plan to take along with me.
